Mark Chaikree Mungkhreuanglang started playing guitar by himself at the age of 15. His father and mother used to listen to music since he was a child. At the age of 17, he got the opportunity to join a music club at Ramkhamhaeng university. Seeing his seniors playing music inspired him and he started practicing guitar and bass more seriously. At the age of 19 he started to perform in restaurants and other venues. Mark says: “Music influences me greatly because it makes me understand the rhythm of life. In each and every step of our daily life, music can have different styles, it depends on what we enjoy listening to. It’s like our very own life, it has many paths that can be walked, and we just walk our way listening to the rhythm of our hearts.” Mark is now a bass teacher at Khlong Toey Music Program.
