A glimpse into the daily life of women in rural Nepal, who work tirelessly every day using antiquated tools for everyday chores. They're careful, but injuries happen. Unfortunately, these women don't have access to medical care, and traveling to a doctor can take days, leaving many of the women with no choice but to continue their work while suffering from open and infected wounds.

William Aura, PFCF Director of Asian Programs, witnessed the heartbreaking situation firsthand during his most recent visit to the Mother's Society. Thanks to donor Peter Bunetta, Aura was able to secure treatment for the mothers.
