Playing For Change Foundation is proud to announce a new collaboration in Mumbai, India, with a wonderful project bringing positive change to hundreds of children and underserved youth. The Sound Space (TSS), founded in 2010 by sisters Kamakshi and Vishala Khurana, is dedicated to making music accessible to all, especially children and disadvantaged communities, using it as a tool for personal growth, well-being, and social transformation.
We’ve recently been working with the TSS team on several projects, particularly supporting the TSS on Wheels initiative, a mobile music classroom built inside a bus that travels across multiple communities to reach children where they are and utilize with them the power of music. Over the past few months, more than 500 children have already been reached.
