Stacie is a hearts-on, hands-on racial equity facilitator and culture consultant who centers presence, empathy, and a strengths-based approach in her work with organizations. Prior to establishing c3 Catalyst, Stacie spent 20 years in nonprofit sector leadership roles both in-house and consulting to nonprofits, philanthropies, and academic institutions throughout the US. She is a trainer with the Selma Center for Truth, Nonviolence, and Reconciliation, a practitioner of Somatic Abolitionism under the leadership of Resmaa Menakem (author of My Grandmother’s Hands), and an active member of antiracist communities Finding Freedom and Undoing White Supremacy Austin. She serves on the DEI Committee of Impact Austin, a collective women’s giving circle.

Stacie hosts a monthly radio show called Racism on the Levels (Love is the Highest Level) on KOOP Community Radio broadcasting out of Austin, Texas. Stacie earned a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego, a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Music from the University of Texas at Austin, an Associate’s degree in Radio and Television from Del Mar College, and certificates in Nonprofit Financial Stewardship from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Executive Program in Arts and Culture Strategy through National Arts Strategies and The University of Pennsylvania. A fifth-generation South Texan born on the ancestral, unceded land of the Karankawas (Corpus Christi), she spent 20 years on the road with stopovers in San Diego, NYC, DC, and Boston before moving back to Austin – ancestral land of the Tonkawas and many other Indigenous peoples – to raise her four year old son Rumi with her spouse Nabil and their dog Bandit. Stacie joined the Playing for Change Foundation board in 2017.
