Today we want to feature the Ubuntu Music Program, located in the capital city of Kigali, Rwanda. Ubuntu means “humanity towards others”, and this program embodies this concept by evolving over 10 years from teaching a few dozen children each week to now more than 400 students weekly across multiple public schools and centers.
This vibrant programs teaches everything from traditional Rwandan drumming and dance to modern keyboard, guitar, bass, and vocals. Watch this short video to a sneak peak of our work in Rwanda and support the hard work of our team members in Kigali by making a donation today!
