Music teacher
Salam Music Program – Uganda
Edmond is a musician from the Democratic Republic of Congo, now living in the Bidibidi Settlement, in Northern Uganda. He serves as a music teacher at the Salam Music Program since 2022. Edmond holds certificates in sound engineering, and music education and has been teaching music at the Glory Primary center in Kampala in previous years.
“I started learning music when I was a child. My dad brought me a white acoustic guitar when I was 13 years old. He told me, “my dream is to see you play a guitar solo”. That’s the moment I started learning music and joined a street band with some of my best friends.”
