We’re building a recording studio at Ecole de Musique de Kirina, in Mali. This music school located in the village of Kirina, in Southern Mali has been operating since 2010 with 200 weekly students.
A huge thank you to Damon Albarn for his unwavering support! Damon has been a key contributor of Ecole de Musique de Kirina for the past 8 years and funded the construction of this studio.
Built with rammed earth bricks and powered with solar panels, this studio will feature a large recording space (that doubles as a rehearsal room!) and a control room, offering our students and local artists a space to create, record, and share their music with the world!
