In celebration of Playing For Change Day, Joudour Sahara Music Program organized the second edition of the Zamane Festival in Mhamid El Ghizlane, Morocco. More than 100 musicians and dancers performed, 500 trees were planted across different communities, cultures were brought together and diversity celebrated!
We were proud to host international musicians from Playing For Change, Roberto Luti, Luke Winslow-King, trivial shields, members of TARTIT and musicians from PFCF programs, Danny and Irene from the Ubuntu Music Program in Rwanda, and Mahamadou, Gaoussou, and Oumou from Ecole de Musique de Kirina in Mali.
A huge thanks to everyone who attended and supported the festival, making it possible. Special thanks to Sahara Roots, the Embassy of Canada, Visa For Music, Dextra Communications, and the Regional Council of Zagora.
