Meet with Sarangi Master Kiran Nepali, in Kathmandu , Nepal

Kiran Nepali is a master Sarangi player from Kathmandu Nepal. Kiran has been a teacher at PFCF programs in Kathmandu and is a recognized musician who has played with some of the best Nepali artists but has also toured the world with international artists. Kiran is from the Gandarbha community, which is essentially a caste of musicians, and has dedicated his life to playing and teaching the Nepali sarangi. In this video, Kiran explains why he thinks transmitting this cultural heritage is more important than ever.
