Parbati is a co-founder of the Mother’s Society, officially registered as an NGO in 2016, but which began as an unofficial movement to create better futures for women and girls back in the late 1990s. The Mother’s Society now constitutes 34 women from Tintale village, and has reached over 10,000 people across eastern Nepal over the last decade by organizing house to house, school to school, and village to village outreach programs to find the most vulnerable women and girls.
