An overview video of our work within Bidibidi, alongside our local partner Sina Loketa. Sina Loketa is a refugee-led non-profit organization dedicated to empowering refugees, who co-created the Salam Music Program that offers free music and arts activities to youth throughout Bidibidi. More than that, we bring together diverse tribes through the power of music and dance, who just a few years ago were fighting each other in South Sudan, and who today celebrate each other through regular activities and events just like Playing For Change Day.
Our work also incorporates agrofarming initiatives aimed at providing food to refugees, while also training them to learn sustainable farming techniques themselves, in addition to implementing a Prevention Against Sexual Abuse and Exploitation activities, and even professional skill development and ICT trainings. In just a few years the project has turned into a major pillar of refugee-led initiatives in the camp, impacting thousands of people, principally women and youth.
This is only possible through your ongoing support!
THANK YOU!
