Glasswing International is a Central American organization that aims to address the root causes and consequences of poverty and violence, by building on a community’s existing strengths. One of their most popular and transformative programs for children and youth development is the Glee Club program. Glasswing’s Glee Club enables youth participants to acquire essential musical, social, and emotional skills through artistic-performance experiences and teamwork that allow them to express their ideas and emotions using singing and dancing for learning and social interaction. 

PFCF has partnered with Glasswing in Guatemala to jointly unlock the musical and creative potential of children and young people in the communities of Villa Nueva; by strengthening their current Glee Clubs cultural programming. This partnership is working to increase the local team and volunteers musical and dance capacities in 6 schools, creating more opportunities of education and development for their young leaders; as well as enhancing a greater social cohesion community-wide.
