Support our AgroFarm project in northern Uganda

Since 2022, the Playing For Change Foundation  has been supporting an impactful agrofarming project in Bidibidi, the largest refugee camp in Africa.

Home to over 200,000 South Sudanese refugees displaced by war, Bidibidi has relied heavily on humanitarian aid. As this aid continues to decline, the situation becomes increasingly dire—especially for women and children, who make up the majority of the population and often struggle to find enough food each day.

In partership with local organization Sina Loketa, PFCF is working to address this urgent need by: training local farmers in sustainable farming practices, to grow diverse food crops, process edible goods, and distributing food to the most vulnerable refugees and groups within the settlement at no cost.

We currently cultivate sorghum, cassava, sesame, peanuts, and more—engaging dozens of local farmers who are now able to bring food home to their families. In 2024 alone, we harvested over 4 tons of food, and we’re planning to expand the project to reach even more people.

To achieve this, we urgently need to purchase a tractor. Until now, all the farming has been done manually. With your support, we can scale up production and help feed thousands of refugees.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 to purchase a tractor.
The need is urgent, and every contribution makes a difference.

Thank you for standing with us.

We need a tractor to scale the project, produce more food and help the refugee community to become self-reliant.
