Supervising Teacher for the String and Melodeon Bands
Dhammajarinee Witthaya Music Program
Hailing from the Pattani Province and now residing in Bangkok, Ms. Wasita Satawarasamit discovered her passion for music in secondary school, inspired by televised performances. She joined her school’s marching band in grade 7 and later became its leader. These experiences led her to pursue a degree in Western Music at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. While studying, she supported national music competitions and taught private lessons. Now based at Dhammajarinee Witthaya School, she supervises both the string and melodeon bands. Ms. Wasita strongly believes that music education nurtures not only artistic skills but also cognitive development, discipline, and emotional resilience. Through structured practice, students learn focus, planning, and time management—skills that carry over into all areas of life. Her goal as a teacher is to inspire confidence and creativity in her students, helping them grow into thoughtful, expressive individuals through the power of music.
