Programa Musical Bogando
Dance teacher
Wilny Vanessa García Asprilla was born in Quibdó, Chocó, Colombia, and graduated from the Institución Educativa Normal Superior de Quibdó. She studied Public Accounting at the Technological University of Chocó up to the fifth semester. She is currently pursuing a technical degree in Commercial Advising at SENA.
Her artistic career began at the age of five, in the San Martín neighborhood of Quibdó, when a children’s dance group was formed where she took her first steps in exotic rhythm, an artistic expression that was just emerging in the city at the time. Over time, she developed outstanding skills in dance and, by the age of eight, was already leading the group, creating original movements and guiding other children through her artistic sensitivity.
In 2020, she joined Explosión Dance, one of the most popular dance groups in Quibdó, where she worked as a dancer, representative, and artistic leader.
Currently, she is a teacher in the dance club within the project Bogando: Music for Peace and Coexistence, where she leads artistic training processes with children and adolescents.
