It continues to be my honor and duty to bring this great spirit of Playing For Change from all of you to our vital music programs in Southeast Asia. I depart for Thailand and Nepal this week.
All of us at PFCF are excited to hear the latest news from our hardworking teachers and dedicated students. For me, this is personal. Over 30 Nepali passport entries have been stamped in my book over the past 15 years. And yet it never ceases to amaze me how hauntingly beautiful their music, art and spirit remains. Encouraging our students every step of the way is indeed a privilege. This is what we do.
As time permits I will do my best to offer highlights of this very special effort. There are numerous PFCF objectives to be accomplished. And the challenges for some of these students are great. Yet I’m certain there will be some heartwarming surprises along the way, so please stay tuned.
This collective effort of change is only possible by your good support. On behalf of the Playing For Change Foundation and all the students and teachers of our programs, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued loving support.
We are the new peacemakers. We are Playing For Change.
Onward and Upward,
