In partnership with the United Nations Population Fund, Playing For Change Foundation announces our newest music program, the Cahuita Music Program in Cahuita, Costa Rica! This marks our 17th music program across 13 countries, and has a particular focus on preserving and promoting Afro-Caribbean heritage.
Working with local partner Asociación de Desarrollo Integral de Cahuita, we have already started music classes at La Casa de la Cultura in Cahuita, Costa Rica. PFCF and UNFPA representatives visited Cahuita in February 2022 for the inauguration, receiving special guest Epsy Cambell Barr, the Vice President of Costa Rica!
