Latin American Programs Coordinator

María is a Dominican communication and development specialist with 13 years of experience in the areas of youth development, community development and gender equality; working with government, NGOs and several UN agencies, including UNICEF, UNFPA, and UNDP. She has also worked with important music festivals, artists and music industry companies, as a producer, coordinator and liaison.

With a Social Communications Degree and a Masters in Youth Studies, by the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO), she has focused her professional development in working with young audiences, including cultural activities as a tool for individual and social change.

Working with PFCF is giving her an opportunity to accomplish her passion for music and the arts.
