Mohamed Al-Rabai

Music Teacher
Zaatari Music Program

I am Mohamed Al-Rabai, 24 years old Syrian Refugee, I am a violinist, and I can also play three other musical instruments. I came to the Zaatari camp about 10 years ago due to the war in Syria. Over the past years, I have been able to overcome all the psychological traumas caused by the war and continue my life. I have developed myself through self-learning in various fields, with a focus on the field of music.

In the last approximately 5 years, I have been particularly interested in the violin and string instruments in general. Today, I am a Music Facilitator for the Music Education Programme with Questscope & PFCF in the Zaatari camp. Our goal is to benefit as many young people as possible and spread the culture of music in the community. This culture carries a message of peace and love among all people, regardless of their race or religion without discrimination.
