Mountaga Sissoko is a Malian musician born in Bamako in 1966. He is the son of Bazoumana Sissoko, a famous Malian n’goni player (traditional griot string instrument). Mountaga is a master talking drum and n’goni player and is also an incredible instrument hand-crafter. Mountaga has taught talking drum and n’goni at École de Musique de Kirina since October 2010. In September 2012, Mountaga recorded on “United”, a Song Around the World produced by PFC for the UN 7 Billion Actions Campaign.
