PFC Day encapsulates what PFCF does best – bring people together through music to strengthen local social fabrics and uplift young generations aspiring for better futures.
The most recent PFC Day Event, Zamane Festival at the Joudour Sahara Music Program in M’hamid El Ghizlane, Morocco, was headlined by Malian guitar icon Vieux Farka Toure and saw more than 150 traditional Gnawan musicians and youth from 12 communities across southeastern Morocco perform live together in unity to preserve ancestral Gnawan culture. These performers ranged from 5 years old to 70 years old.
