Khlong Toey Music Program – Thailand
After realizing that she loved music at an early age, Amm began learning guitar at the age of 14. While studying Nursing at Mahidol University beginning in 2003, she joined several different bands, promoted social change and spread awareness on environmental issues and social problems. She also set up a music-sharing group that still collects second-hand instruments and donates them to children who lack opportunities to learn music. She met Gigi in 2012, and together they began to build a music education program for the Khlong Toey kids. Amm believes that music has the power to create positive change.
