Born in 1977, Jean started to immerse himself in music at the church, during his childhood in Bamako and Koulikouro. He graduated from the National Institute of Arts in 2000 and started to teach music in different schools in the capital city while also assuming roles such as choir coordinator and cultural advisor for the diocese of Bamako.
Jean is married and has 4 children. He joined the team at Ecole de Musique de Kirina in January 2024 as educational coordinator and music teacher, introducing our students to vocal training and keyboard.
