The first Weway album is out now! An innovative fusion of Mapuche tradition with contemporary sounds, it was recorded between Argentina and Chile in iconic spaces such as Santuario Sónico Studio, renowned for hosting internationally acclaimed musicians. The album features five songs that reflect Mapuche identity and worldview, blending ancestral instruments with modern rhythmic foundations and high-quality production.

One of the key members of Weway is Yuliana Nawel Paredes, who leads the Lhewfü Suena Music Program in Patagonia, Argentina. The participation of students from Lhewfü Suena adds special value, reinforcing the sense of community and highlighting the importance of new generations within Mapuche culture.

Mapuche artists Daniela, Yuliana, and Vñum, from Chile, traveled to Neuquén to join the production and recording. During their stay, they also took part in a public event commemorating International Women’s Day, sharing the stage with Weway and bringing their art to the community.
