Director of Education
François has been an active member of Playing For Change since 2005. He first met Mark Johnson in Barcelona while he was working on PFC’s version of Stand By Me, and introduced him to musicians like Clarence Bekker, Tal Ben Ari (Tula) and Pierre Minetti. He has since traveled the world working with the Playing For Change crew and the PFC Foundation.
François currently lives in Barcelona and studied history of arts and cinema at the Autónoma University of Barcelona, graduating with a Masters in Documentary film.
François started to work with the PFC Foundation in February of 2010, coordinating the creation and development of our school in Mali and producing videos on our music programs. He has since then been involved in the creation of new music programs in different countries and currently helps to oversee the management and development of our programs.
