Khumbulani has been involved in programmes in the creative field in Cape Town since the age of 14. He began in 2005 as a participant in Bush Radio 89fm's Children's Radio Education Workshop (C.R.E.W). He created and participated in creating radio programmes, vox pox and radio dramas that focused on creating awareness of the issues facing children in the Cape Flats. After graduation, he worked as a technician, writer and host on the station's first radio programme, The Headwarmaz, developed and hosted by the world-renowned DJ Ready D. The show focused on giving a platform to hip-hop activism in and around Cape Town. Khumbulani because a MC and presenter as an extension of his work with The Headwarmaz Show, hosting such as Isdudla SeHip Hop, and the Hip Hop Kas Lam and Hip Hop Awards held annually at the Baxter Theatre. His first love was and still is hip hop music. He is a writer, rapper, poet and producer and is part of the group ISweet Le Jam, and has collaborated with artists such as Jargon Music, Illuminati Gathuis, and award-winning producer Jay Tip (Thembelani Gina), among others. Khumbulani is currently studying at LLB at the University of The Western Cape, where he is a proud member of the debating society.
