As part of a cross cultural learning project, students in West Africa and the Northeast United States have been recording videos of their classes performing some of their favorite dance moves and sharing them with each other.
The PFCF Bizung School of Music and Dance in Tamale, Ghana, performed the “Pacha”, a traditional Ghanian dance they’ve been learning, and sent it to their new friends in Philadelphia, PA.
The 6th grade class at The Philadelphia School responded with the popular hip hop dance, the “Nae Nae” to the song “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” by Silentó.
It’s the Bizung School’s turn to respond to the Nae Nae — we can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
