Visual Arts teacher
Paintbrush Arts Program
Originally from Ratchaburi Province, Kookkai now lives in Nonthaburi. He graduated with a degree in Art Education from the Faculty of Education at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. With a strong background in the visual arts, his experience includes oil painting, watercolor, and various other painting techniques. His artistic practice is rooted in both classical and contemporary approaches.
Kookkai has been an art teacher at the Paintbrush Foundation for two years. Through his work, he supports children from the Khlong Toei community in exploring self-expression and creativity through art. He believes that art is not just about technique, but about nurturing the whole person.
In his view, adolescence is a critical stage of development—physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. Art plays a vital role in helping young people grow in all these dimensions. It encourages self-awareness, patience, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the world. By guiding his students through the creative process, Kookkai hopes to provide a space where they can thrive, explore, and develop into balanced, thoughtful individuals.
