Director of Artistic and Educational Development
Michael is grateful to be part of the Playing for Change Foundation team, supporting educational development and leading creative projects across its global network.
For more than 20 years, Michael has dedicated his career to serving young people and their communities, using the arts and education to inspire social change. His work with nonprofit organizations has taken him across North and South America, Africa, and Asia, where he has founded community arts centers, designed and led programs for youth and families, consulted on organizational development and strategic planning, and facilitated training for educators.
Michael is a music director, composer, and producer who has collaborated with award-winning musicians and ensembles around the world. Most recently, he directed and produced Voices for Change, a global choir album bringing together more than 400 young musicians and professional artists from the Playing for Change Foundation’s network across 12 countries.
Michael is deeply inspired by the people he has met through the Foundation and honored to work alongside them and support the life-changing work they do every day to make this world a better place.
