Latin American Programs Coordinator
Josué has diverse experience across Latin America transforming complex challenges into opportunities for resilience in areas such as migration, LGBTQ+ rights and development. This focus led him to lead programmatic operations in Colombia in response to humanitarian crises, addressing both the Venezuelan migratory flow and internal displacement due to the armed conflict. His regional experience extends to countries such as El Salvador, Guatemala, Brazil, Peru, and the Dominican Republic.
His vision integrates digital transformation and the use of structured methodologies to expand opportunities for populations on the move and vulnerable youth. He holds an MBA and a Master’s degree in project management, with postgraduate studies completed in institutions in Spain and Mexico. Throughout his career, he has specialized in strengthening regional capacities, under the premise that technical efficiency only makes sense when it is at the service of social impact.
Based in Quito, Ecuador, he currently serves as the Latin American Program Coordinator at the Playing For Change Foundation. Josué finds his true calling in social cohesion, convinced that the most profound change arises from connecting with the humanity of others and using empathy as the fundamental language to build more just and hopeful communities.
